Otavio Barreto

Otavio Barreto is a Brazilian Christian writer and communicator. His theme is Christianity in the real world: the conviction that faith can be lived with honesty and humanity, without pretense or utopia, trusting the grace that lifts those who fall and strengthens those who stand, in a daily transformation.

Born in Recife, he learned the value of work early, holding his first job at nine years old. He built a corporate career before selling his own company, in 2011, to dedicate his life to ministry. Since then he has served as a pastor and in several leadership roles in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and today serves at the continental level in the South American Division, where he directs the Chaplaincy Ministries, present in eight countries.

He does not introduce himself by his titles. His credentials, in theology and management, serve as proof of experience, not as the center. What defines him is the message: real faith for real life, for ordinary and sincere Christians who know they are flawed and still want to grow, one day at a time.
